Special Events FAQ

Do I have to be a member of The Savannah Golf Club to have an event at the Club?
No, however all non-member events must be sponsored by a current member of The Savannah Golf Club.
Do you allow outside Vendors?
Yes and No. We do not allow outside catering or beverage services; we pride ourselves on serving you and your guests the finest food and beverage available. We do allow you to bring in a host of vendors to make your wedding or special events perfect, ranging from DJ services, Wedding Cake and Special Patisseries, Florists, Photographers, Event Coordinators and more.
How long is the Club (or Room) available to me for my event?
Individual Private Rooms or even the entire Clubhouse, are all available to you for your celebration for a 4 hour period of time. For specific days and hours, regarding the day of decorating or early rental load in, that can all be coordinated in advance, and based on availability, with our Catering & Private Events Manager.
Can I have my wedding ceremony at the Club?
Yes. We welcome ceremonies in the Ballroom or in the Private Courtyard. This location can host a wide variety of rental items, including chairs, tables, staging, as well as a rented 40x60 tent.
Is there a Wedding Coordinator or Facilitator onsite to handle our wedding ceremony or reception?
No. We are happy to advise you on vendors, menu selections, reception timelines and details about the club operations, but do not offer wedding coordinating services. We require that all ceremonial directing be facilitated by an independent wedding coordinator.
